Preparing to leave town can often cause a family much stress. One of our family members happens to be our beloved four legged dog named "Asta". We were so thrilled to hear that Fun Pet Rides is a service that can actually go into your home and take your pet to a boarding facility after you have had to leave for an early flight or simply because you don't have time to get her to the boarding facility. After trying the service, we didn't have to take Asta in the night before and incur extra costs...also the stress for her and us was greatly reduced. The same is true of having her in there, happy to see us, tail a wagging, when we arrived home. Fun Pet Rides just picked her up, delivered her safely back home and we all had the happiest of reunions!

Fun Pet Rides solved a big problem for us. We wanted to take our dog Patrick to doggie daycare, but didn’t have the time in our schedule to make it work. We are very particular about where we take our “four-legged kids” and who cares for them. From the first time we met with Shawna from Fun Pet Rides, we knew that this was the right option for us. We are very impressed with the professional manner in which all things are handled. Shawna treats our Patrick like he is her own special critter. We have indoor feline critters who try to escape from the house when Patrick “goes to school” but Shawna always takes care to be sure they remain safely in the house when he rides the Fun Pet Rides van.

F un Pet Rides was a lifesaver for us! We recently moved cross country and had to kennel our cats temporarily in Seattle while we got settled in NC. Despite our misgivings about leaving our pets, we had made arrangements for them to be kenneled locally and then transported to the airport by Fun Pet
Rides for their cross-country flight two weeks later. On the day before we left, our kennel informed us that they lost our reservation and would not be able to accommodate our cats. In a panic, we began looking for alternate kennels and Shawna came to our rescue with a great recommendation.

In addition to helping us solve our last-minute dilemma, we found Shawna to be an incredibly reliable, responsive, and conscientious Pet Travel Coordinator. Not only did she double-check all the airline rules and regulations, she worked with our kennel to insure that all the arrangements we had made for our boys were in place and followed to the letter. She kept in contact with us during the pick-up and drop-off, and followed up with us the next morning to make sure our cats had arrived safely. She even attached spare water bottles to our cat's cages and they arrived well hydrated and in great shape!

From the beginning, we placed all our trust in Shawna and were never disappointed! She helped alleviate our stress about the move and separation from our pets, reassured us about the safety and security of the travel plan we chose, and maintained fantastic communication with us each step of the way. I never thought I would ever need to use a pet taxi but now I don't know how I could do without Shawna at Fun Pet Rides. I have come to rely on Shawna to alleviate a lot of scheduling conflicts I encounter with taking my dog to day care or boarding and needing to be somewhere else for work. Shawna has been such a great help to me because she is always available to take my Boston Terrier, Koa, to or from doggie day care.
